Introduction

Contrary to her youthful appearance, Rania has lived for hundreds of years. Despite her age, she is considered relatively young in the field of sorcery, possibly the youngest to have ever acquired the title of "Grand Sorceress". Her life has been marked by involvement in countless wars.

One fateful day, a colossal fleet devoid of any signs of life abruptly emerges in the Requiem galaxy. On the eve of the decisive battle, the Empress entrusts her daughter to Rania. The people of Requiem, by comparison to humans, enjoy an extended lifespan, yet a sorcerer's life expectancy far exceeds theirs. The privilege of becoming a magician is only granted to a select few, and fewer still possess the talent to ascend to the ranks of a sorcerer. Rania typically harbors a disdain for children, for a sorcerer often endures the sorrow of witnessing their offspring age and perish before they do. Yet, in the time spent together, Rania grows to love young Limelight as if she were her own daughter.

Over the years, under Rania's careful guidance, Limelight has matured into a woman. Rania is acutely aware that the day will come when she must release Limelight to forge her own path.
